MINUTES:

1.       The meeting was called to order by Pres. Ferdie at 7:20 pm.

2.       In the absence of  Treasurer Cristina Balmes, Asst. Treasurer Remy Bateau made the financial report. Our account balance as of 9/4/09 is                     $3,497.24.

3.       Updates on picnic on Oct. 3, 2009 at  “The Lakes”:

 

  a.   Menu to be catered by Bulakena, c/o President Elect Fita. The allotted budget of $200.00 for the food will be mailed to her.  She will order the                 following food items: Jeproks (dried fish), pinakbet, lumpiang shanghai, adobo and  pancit.

 

  b.   Special spaghetti  c/o  Gary and Evelyn Sayre

   c.    Water melon c/o Alex and Virgie

   d.    Cooked rice, soda / bottled water c/o the other officers

   e.    One whole lechon  c/o Romy Dublin.

   f.     Plates/cups and cutlery, table napkins c/o Cristina.

  g.     Microphone / karaoke c/o Angel

  h.     Review/ CE flyers  c/o Evelyn

4.       Induction of 2010-2011 Set of Officers and 10th Anniversary Celebration

  a.     To be held on Jan. 23, 2009 (no definite time yet)

 

  b.     Fita suggested to hold it at Sta. Fe Casino.  She will ask for price quotations.

  c.     Tickets might be sold at $50.00/person to defray cost of expenses.

  d .    For the souvenir journal, Fita reserved the inside front and Ferdie the back outside page.

5.       Leo Fabriquier, Jr. read an email from Bell Ocampo of PAMET-USA regarding her call for  support  of  her daughter’s marathon race.  It was                   agreed by the group that PAMET-NV will donate $100.00 in addition to the $40.00 collected from those present in the meeting.

 

6.       The Nov. 14th meeting will be held at Angel’s place.  Ferdie will be in the Philippines during that time so Shirley to preside.

7.       Next meeting will be held  on Oct. 3rd at 10:30 am before  the start of the picnic.

8.       Meeting was adjourned at 8:20 pm.
